Achievements in Snoring TherapyStudies by Dr. W. Bauer, head of the Dept. of Pneumology at Lindenhofspital, Bern, have proved the positive effects of respiratory endurance training on persons with snoring problems. According to Dr. Bauer, the length and depth of our sleep, increasing through the night, causes the pharynx muscles to relax more and more, which is one of the reasons for snoring. In addition, muscles tend to slacken as we get older. Snoring can be a result of this slackness: There is not enough tension in the pharynx musculature to keep the pharynx open. In his studies, Dr.Bauer was able to prove, that the snoring frequency of test persons exercising with the respiratory endurance training device was significantly reduced. The device therefore means hope for many snorers and their bed partners. However, it is recommended to have the reasons for snoring examined and clarified before beginning respiratory training with SpiroTiger® to reduce a snoring problem.

Achievements in Pulmonary TherapyScientific studies clearly substantiate the decrease in breathing problems and the improvement in the capabilities and quality of life for patients with a pulmonary disease owing to targeted respiratory endurance training.
