Why Back Therapy
Clinical symptoms
Problems of the back have made their appearance among the most frequent and economically wasteful complaints in our society.
More than half of all health induced unemployment and/or work disability are in some way related to spinal issues. Recent studies have shown they affect 80% of the population at some time and become a chronic and painful condition for 40%. Hence appropriate research and therapy have become high medical priorities.
Man’s evolutionary progression to standing and moving in an upright position has not only caused the spinal cord to change its orientation, but also affected its shape. The resulting forces of compression and shear now often reach or exceed physical limitations.
